How to prepare your kit list

When you apply for your carnet, you must include a detailed list of the equipment you’re taking on the trip.

Supplying the list in the correct format will speed up the application process

You will need:

  • Description of the item including brand name & model
  • Serial number (where available)
  • Quantity: number of items on that line
  • Weight in kgs or grams. Don’t mix kgs & grams. Or you can just provide a total list weight
  • Value in £. This is the current market value (not new), not including VAT
  • Country where the item is manufactured
